Nice to meet you! I am Elaine, from Guangzhou. Currently I am a master’s student in the Integrated Remote Sensing Studio at UBC Forestry. I worked as a software engineer in the industry before being on campus again. My blog is a way to share what I learn, such as data science and system design. I graduated from the University of Waterloo’s Computational Mathematics program in 2019 (lucky enough to not have zoom classes). In my free time, I like to travel, take photos whenever I go, and read books.
